Soft Lenses

Most of the contact lenses we prescribe are now soft disposables, although some traditional soft lens designs are still available. Whist one day disposables provide the ultimate in convenience, especially for occasional wearers, two weekly and monthly disposables are the most popular options, particularly in  the latest silicone hydrogel materials, with their superior oxygen performance and associated eye health benefits.

We provide a wide range of soft contact lens options, including coloured lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism and even bifocal and multifocal designs. We are able to fit and supply contacts from a great selection of leading brands and manufacturers including Acuvue, Ciba, Bausch & Lomb and CooperVision.

Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Lenses

For some patients with high prescriptions or with eye conditions such as keratoconus, RGP lenses are the best option, offering superior visual performance. We have optometrists with extensive experience in fitting a wide range of RGP designs and who enjoy the variety rigid lens fitting provides.

Subsidy

A subsidy is available for some patients who have keratoconus (depending on their level of vision) or with very high prescriptions.
